Introducing the Tsunami 2 Steam-2 digital sound decoder, a compact 1-amp module that brings authentic steam locomotive audio to life in model trains. It is designed to plug into models equipped with a 21-pin NEM socket and provides eight function outputs to control lights and sounds. The decoder offers a broad, high-quality sound library and a reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust that adjusts exhaust tones in response to throttle and load for a more immersive ride. It also adds realistic operation with functioning locomotive and train brakes, injectors, power reverse, and firebox flicker, along with a wide range of chuffs, bells, whistles, and air horns.

Easy to install, the Tsunami 2 Steam-2 simply plugs into 21-pin NEM sockets; for models using DCC quick plugs or NMRA 8-pin connections, adapters or wiring harnesses are available to connect. To boost reliability on dirty tracks or through switches, an optional capacitor can be included or it can be wired to a CurrentKeeper to help maintain performance.
