The Blunami ALCO Diesel Digital Sound Decoder is a compact, 1-amp digital sound decoder with eight function outputs that plugs into a 21-pin NEM connector, making it easy to add authentic ALCO diesel sound and control to compatible locomotives.

Featuring Reactive Dynamic Digital Exhaust (DDE), exhaust tones adjust dynamically to throttle input and grade for a lifelike ride. The decoder's eight function outputs can control locomotive and train brakes, injectors, power reverse, and firebox flicker, while a broad library of sounds—including exhaust chuffs (10), prime movers (up to 12), bells (12), whistles (90), air horns (40+), plus couplers and dynamos—lets modelers tailor the locomotive’s audible character to suit different ALCO diesel models.
