Machined Rod Ends Clear - Straight M4 (VPS08501)

Machined M4 Rod Ends, Straight configuration, are rebuildable, machined alternatives to molded rod ends used in linkage assemblies. They incorporate an adjustable tension system that keeps the pivot ball captured inside the joint, driven by an M2.5 set screw that allows readjustment as parts wear. Designed to replace Incision Rod Ends, the overall length of the linked assembly remains unchanged.

Because they are machined rather than molded, they may not cinch down completely and can rotate slightly during installation. A small amount of thread lock on the M2.5 set screw helps secure the tension piece, though excessive thread lock can make removal difficult. Thread lock is not required on the M4 threads for mounting to the link. Assembly requires patience and careful orientation of components for proper setup, and these are not recommended for extreme triangulated configurations.
