Fine Ballast (WOOB1372)

Fine Ballast is brown, fine-grain ballast material for model railroads. It creates a realistic ballast bed under tracks to hold ties in place and can also be used to model gravel roads in dioramas. Packaged in a shaker, it contains 50 cubic inches of material, allowing controlled application, and it can be mixed with other ballast colors to add natural variation to the layout.

It is suitable for multiple scales, with fine granules that help create authentic texture on track beds and adjacent surfaces. For a durable finish, attach with Scenic Cement, and blend this brown ballast with other colors to achieve subtle shading and a lifelike look across the scene.
