Fine Buff Ballast Woodlan (WOOB1373)

Fine Buff Ballast is a fine-grain ballast material for model railroading, designed to recreate authentic track ballast and to help hold the ties in place. The buff color provides a natural, weathered appearance, and it can be blended with other ballast colors for realistic variation. For a durable finish, Scenic Cement helps secure it in place once laid.

This option comes in a shaker containing 50 cubic inches of ballast, making it easy to apply in measured amounts. The fine grade is suitable for multiple scales, and you can mix colors to achieve natural variation across ballast beds and road surfaces. It’s well suited for track beds and other landscape features, delivering a believable, lasting finish when fixed in place.
