Coarse Ballast Brown (WOOB1386)

Coarse Ballast Brown is a modeling ballast designed to recreate a realistic track ballast bed for model railroads. The coarse brown granules help anchor ties in place and form a believable foundation under the rails, while the color blends naturally with surrounding scenery. It can also be used to model gravel roads, and colors can be mixed with other ballast shades to achieve a varied, lifelike look.

Available in a shaker package that contains 50 cubic inches of material for easy handling, this ballast is designed to be attached with Scenic Cement to secure the ballast and create a durable, authentic track bed on layouts of different sizes. If desired, colors can be mixed to tailor the finish to the terrain and weathering effects for a realistic scene.
