Coare Ballast Gray (WOOB1395)

Coarse Gray Ballast is a model railroad ballast designed to mimic the crushed rock that anchors track ties and forms the ballast bed. Supplied in a shaker, it contains 50 cubic inches of gray ballast, making it easy to apply along track sections or to model gravel roads. The gray blend can be mixed with other ballast colors to add natural variation, and it bonds securely with Scenic Cement for a durable, lifelike finish.

The ballast is sized to look authentic across common scales, with a scale reference guide to help choose the right ballast size for layouts from Z to G. This makes it a practical choice for adding realistic track detail and terrain texture to dioramas and model layouts.
