Coarse Iron Ore (WOOB84)

Coarse Iron Ore ballast is a modeling ballast designed to secure rails and ties and form a convincing ballast bed for model railways. Its iron ore color and coarse texture provide a rugged, authentic look, and it can also be used to depict gravel roads for broader scenery along tracks.

Each bag contains 18 cubic inches of ballast and can be attached with scenic cement for a durable finish. The coarse grains read well on common scales such as HO and N, and the color blends nicely with other ballast shades, making it easy to mix and match for a natural, multi-tone layout.
