Ballast-Coarse Buff (WOOB87)

Coarse Buff Ballast for Model Railroading is a ballast material designed to recreate a realistic track bed. It helps hold ties in place around railroad tracks and provides the gravel-like texture that makes layouts look authentic. It’s also well-suited for modeling gravel roads in dioramas and other scenery.

Each bag contains 18 cubic inches of buff-colored, coarse ballast that can be blended with other colors to achieve natural variation. The material can be attached with Scenic Cement to secure the bed in place, giving a durable, believable finish to track and road scenes.
