Base Rock Mold (WOOC1243)

Base Rock Mold is a flexible, reusable rock mold designed to help you create realistic rock formations for dioramas, model railroading layouts, and scenic terrain. The mold measures about 5 inches by 10-1/2 inches, offering a versatile size for everything from small rocky details to larger outcrops.

Use with casting plaster such as lightweight Hydrocal to cast rocks ranging from tiny boulders to full rock faces. These molds are durable, flexible, and well detailed, and can be combined with other rock molds to produce hundreds of unique formations. After casting, color the surfaces with Earth Colors Liquid Pigments to achieve natural stone tones.
