Incline 3% Starter (WOOST1415)

The 3% Incline Starter is a flexible incline segment designed to begin a model railroad track on a gentle 3% grade, part of Woodland Scenics SubTerrain Lightweight Layout System. Each piece is 2-1/2 inches wide by 24 inches long, and the six-piece starter set makes it easy to create an incline quickly and consistently.

Designed for beginners, it requires no expensive tools, no dusty mess, and no prior experience. The identical starter sections can be used alone or with other SubTerrain sets to start an elevated track. To install, center the incline on the riser, butt the sections tightly, pin in place with foam nails, and secure with foam-safe glue. Made from high-density foam, the SubTerrain components are lightweight and easy to work with, delivering a smooth transition between heights and a straightforward path to a multi-level layout.
